This year my wife and I have been traveling throughout the state to catch up with our classmates. I have been following the Hooters USAR Racing Division this year and unknowingly I have passed by some of our classmates and did not even know about it. It was brought to my attention by a graduate of Central High, Class of 1966 who saw a picture while browsing through our Web Site. They informed me that George and Roberta (Burton) Mappin's son in law was driving their car in this division. So you see, the world is small. We caught up to George and Roberta Thanksgiving week-end in Lakeland as well as Tom Dean, Tom Stearns, Steve Banks and Janice Kerlin, the graduate from Central that told me about the Mappins'.
